Welcome to CTP News, the monthly newsletter of the Cuba Transition Project (CTP) at the University of Miami's Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies (ICCAS). The CTP is funded by a grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

 

“WHAT’S RAUL CASTRO UP TO?”

The CTP will be holding a seminar, "What's Raul Castro Up To?" Panelists include: Antonio Jorge, Senior Research Scholar at ICCAS and Senior Academic Advisor to the Cuba Transition Project; Brian Latell, Senior Research Associate at ICCAS; Andy Gomez, Assistant Provost at the University of Miami and Senior Fellow at ICCAS; and José Azel, Senior Research Associate at ICCAS. The discussion will be moderated by Jaime Suchlicki, Director, ICCAS.

FILM FESTIVAL

Casa Bacardi will be hosting its Annual Film Festival May 5-9, 2008. The festival seeks to highlight the experiences of Cuban exiles and members of the Cuban-American community. For more information about the featured films, please click here.
